Welcome to Youth Ministry at Paradise Valley United Methodist Church.

We are located at 4455 E. Lincoln Drive in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Our community outreach programs and youth initiatives are designed to go from our church into the community to help those in need.

Confirmation & Sr. High Retreat registration forms are due February 1.  Please turn yours in as quickly as possible!  Retreat is February 18-20 at Mingus Mountain UMC Camp.

This Week in Youth Ministry:
Sunday, January 29 (Youth Choir & Sing to Hymn Sunday):

• Youth Choir & Sing to Hymn Sunday - NO SML, Confirmation, or CD&E - Join us in worship at 9:30 or 11:00 a.m. as our youth choir and youth praise band help lead worship.
• Youth Choir - Rehearsal from 4:00-5:00 p.m. in the choir room
• V.I.B.E. (Sunday Evening Fellowship) - ICE SKATING (off campus) from 5:00-8:00 p.m. (Please note the extended VIBE time).  $10 per person (don't let the cost keep you from coming).  We're going to Arcadia Ice Den for an evening of ice skating.  Bring a friend!

Wednesday, February 1:

• Christian Group of Young Men (CGYM) - Senior High guy's small group on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-8:45 p.m. in the Youth Lounge.

• SML (Sunday Morning Live) - Grades 7-12 meet in the chapel from 9:30-9:45 a.m. for gathering, youth ministry announcements, prayer, and music.
  
• 7th Grade Confirmation - "About Worship" with Ron Maryhew in the chapel from 9:45-10:40 a.m.
• 8th Grade Confirmation - "The End of the World and Life After Death" with Krysten Paynter in room H5 from 9:45-10:40 a.m
• Christian Development & Exploration (CD&E) - "The First Face of Christianity: Team Challenge on Who Jesus Really Was" with Mary Sue Ingraham in room H7 from 9:45-10:40 a.m.
• Sing to Hymn (Youth Praise Band) - Rehearsal from 11:00-1:00 p.m. in the chapel
• Youth Choir - Rehearsal from 3:00-4:00 p.m. in the choir room (**PLEASE note the time change due to the Super Bowl!)
  
• V.I.B.E. (Sunday Evening Fellowship) - Super Bowl Party in H1 from 4:00 p.m. until...the game is over!  Dinner and snacks provided.  Come enjoy the game on the big screens.

• Confirmation & Sr. High Retreat - February 18-20, 2012 (President's Day Weekend).  Please make this an event a priority for your student.  Registration forms are due by February 1.
  
• Annual Youth Dinner & Auction - Sunday, April 22, 2012.  This is our biggest fundraiser of the year for youth missions and youth choir tour.  Please add this to your calendar!
